Just the Tonic: branding for hospitality recruiter
Tonic is a recruitment consultancy for the hospitality sector. It specialises in sourcing candidates in catering, leisure and food service, then placing them in career-defining roles.
Our brief was to design a brand identity that reflected Tonic's talent for matching candidates with clients. The client wanted the branding to be a clean and contemporary typographic exercise with no obvious iconography.
Our response was to design a wordmark in which the letter N was formed from two arrows, a simple way to illustrate the client/candidate relationship, but also a hint at the “search and find” process.
