The Project
Local Knowle-based butcher Eric Lyons engaged Liquid to help with their journey as they transitioned from offering online orders to a small radius from their shop, to offering nationwide delivery to customers across the UK. While they had some organic search rankings in place from their online store, based on their local audience, their main traffic (and sales) to the site came from direct repeat customers.
Our key goal was to increase sales through the online store and free up the team to deliver the orders. It was vital to raise awareness of the new nationwide delivery service with a fully integrated marketing plan to reach and capture relevant new audiences.
The Result
We devised a digital marketing strategy for the national launch encompassing paid and organic social media. By running Facebook and Instagram conversion ads, we were able to considerably increase store visits, website revenue and conversion rates.
As a result of our onsite content rewrites, improvements and 9-month SEO strategy we’ve seen a huge increase in traffic, and ultimately revenue, from organic search.
A TikTok channel was launched in line with the launch of the nationwide delivery service, and through only organic activity, in the first month of performance, over 2.5k video views were achieved on the platform.
