The Project

NBG is the premier buying group for independent merchants, offering unbeatable national coverage. Formed in 2003, NBG has a vast community of partners that improve business profitability and enhance growth opportunities by committing to buying products together.​

The Result

Liquid was appointed to support NBG with communications activity in 2018, and we continued to work with them until 2022. During this time, we organised and delivered three in-person conferences, one virtual (due to the pandemic), and two partner events.

We managed their press office, social media channels (Twitter and LinkedIn), and internal communications, as well as developing website copy. This also included writing monthly newsletters distributed on their 'hub', managing internal surveys, and producing, designing and printing newsletters/newspapers, which were given out at each event.

We also hosted roundtable discussions with members and worked with industry media titles to produce dedicated, printed supplements, building on our strong relationships with trade titles, including Builders' Merchants News and Professional Builders Merchants.
