Building awareness for St. Modwen’s latest venture
Following the creation of St. Modwen’s dedicated Industrial & Logistics (I&L) business in 2019, Liquid’s remit changed. Having previously worked solely on the developer’s Midlands schemes, Liquid now supports St. Modwen’s I&L work on a national basis looking after 10m sq ft of strategic land.
Our objective was to build awareness and the reputation of St. Modwen’s I&L business within both the industry and though the various stakeholders the developers interact with. Liquid’s responsibility is very much traditional media relations, with target titles such as Property Week, EG, React News and Logistics Manager – but is supported by award entries, thought leadership pieces and editorial and advertorial content.
Given the volume of project milestones across the I&L pipeline, Liquid ensured quality levels remained high and that time spent on PR activity was invested in the right way. Together with the Corporate Comms team at St. Modwen, Liquid adopted a more tactical and strategic approach for the way St. Modwen shares its news.
Since being reappointed Liquid has continued to placed St. Modwen in various key titles such as Estates Gazette and Property Week. A consistent flow of news ensured that St. Modwen grew its share of voice in relevant logistics titles, regional news (where relevant) and vertical press reaching 3 million readers.
