Whitley Fund for Nature (WFN) is a fundraising and grant-giving nature conversation charity.
WFN offers recognition, training and grants to proven grassroots conservation leaders across the Global South.
WFN appointed Liquid to create invitations for their annual Whitley Awards ceremony, attended by patron HRH The Princess Royal. We were also tasked with designing a supporting 40-page awards booklet.
We designed bespoke, individually numbered invitations with stunning orange envelopes to really catch attention, followed by a breath-taking 40-page awards booklet. We gave the design a contemporary style and developed a vast colourway to accentuate hues found in nature, giving us the tools to create visually interesting pages, whilst employing structured information and graphics held together with strong typography.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Whitley Awards, due to take place in April, were postponed. However, the awards booklet and invitations will have their chance to shine when the ceremony is rescheduled, hopefully for late 2020.
