Creating the difference: global communications for SANNE

SANNE is a leading global provider of alternative asset and corporate administration services. The company is FTSE 250-listed and Jersey-based, employing more than 1,600 people across 20 international jurisdictions. Liquid was commissioned to work with SANNE to deliver communication support.

The brief

Liquid started working with SANNE in 2015 and was appointed as an extension of its marketing team. Our role was to act as a press office and to provide proactive media opportunities, both locally and across trade media with the objective of raising SANNE's profile. We continue to be SANNE's retained PR agency. The scope of the brief has developed and now sees Liquid work with the marketing team in developing the PR strategy for the business.

What we did

We work closely with the team to set the PR strategy each year. Our day-to-day role involves us identifying proactive opportunities within the media as well as providing a traditional press office function. We work with media outlets across multiple jurisdictions in Europe and Asia and with trade titles across private equity, debt, corporate, private client, international finance, funds and real estate. We are also undertaking a social media audit for SANNE.

The result

We regularly secure coverage for SANNE in all of its ‘tier one’ media outlets with every piece of content issued securing a minimum of ten pieces of coverage. In 2019, more than 280 pieces of coverage were secured. We ensure that all content produced in house or generated through their global programme of roundtables is featured in their core media outlets. SANNE now has strong relationships with key stakeholders within the media and a reputation for creating quality content and commentary.
