Alternative thinking for a new brand identity
Altair is a group of high-calibre individuals who provide director-level insight and advice to the funds industry. Based in the Channel Islands, Altair’s range of institutional, entrepreneurial and independent clients include private companies, investment banks and governments.
As a new company comprising experienced directors, our challenge was to create branding and positioning that looked established and authoritative, while conveying a contemporary and fresh feel. The cornerstones of the brief were the impressive credentials of Altair’s team and the company name: Altair is the brightest star in the constellation of Aquila, a great analogy for a company offering expert guidance.
Liquid worked with Altair's senior team to create a high-end corporate identity and a set of sophisticated online and offline communications tools. We designed a minimalist new logo and developed the strapline “Alternative thinking” to reflect the firm's innovative approach to the rapidly evolving alternative funds industry.
