Liquid appoints new Birmingham-based Account Director
We are pleased to welcome Dan Hill to the Liquid team as Account Director.
Although initially starting remotely, Dan will join the team at our Birmingham office as soon as we are able to return to the city.
Dan originally trained as a journalist, before beginning his PR journey by providing corporate comms and PR for the NEC Group.
Dan’s 15-year career has spanned agency and in-house roles, serving a variety of private and public sector clients. He has worked on a number of high-profile property and construction projects such as Arena Central, Arden Cross (the site of the HS2 interchange) and Paradise Birmingham.
Dan has experience of creating and delivering cross-platform client strategies, working alongside colleagues in creative, digital and marketing; running public consultations and managing events. His passion for the West Midlands and extensive knowledge of the region makes him ideally placed to take the lead on many of our Birmingham-based accounts.
As the second team member to join us during lockdown, Dan’s first week was rather out of the ordinary. While he hasn’t been able to meet the majority of the team in person yet, he got off to a great start by winning the quiz at our latest Liquid social and wowing us all with his general knowledge.
Speaking about his new role, Dan said: “Moving jobs in the midst of a global pandemic was never going to be the easiest thing to accomplish, but the team at Liquid have gone out of their way to make this as easy a transition as possible.
“Liquid has a diverse range of clients and I’m looking forward to playing a part in their continued growth and development…and meeting my new colleagues in person at some point!”
Liquid CEO Lis Lewis-Jones commented: “Dan is a fantastic addition to our Birmingham team and we are greatly looking forward to welcoming him in person as soon as we are able to. His experience is closely aligned with many of our clients’ objectives and we have no doubt that he will produce outstanding results.”
Welcome to the team Dan! It’s great to have you aboard.
