Closing Out 2025: Liquid’s December Highlights

As the year draws to a close, the final months of the year have delivered everything we love: big wins, brilliant campaigns, meaningful partnerships, and just enough festive chaos to keep things interesting. From award recognition and new client appointments to international projects and some healthy office competition, it has been a fitting way to round off a standout year.
We are incredibly proud to end the year on a high, with Liquid winning Best PR Campaign for our work on the British Transplant Games at the Midlands Media Awards. The award is a testament to the power of purposeful storytelling and the impact a well-executed PR campaign can have, with highlights including 2.1 billion total audience reach and 308 pieces of coverage.

November saw Maple from Canada UK exhibiting at the Ideal Home Show, bringing a taste of Canada to Olympia in London with a sugar shack-inspired stand. The activation focused on educating visitors about the versatility of pure Canadian maple syrup, with sampling bringing the story to life and connecting with visitors in a memorable way.

That momentum continued online with one of Maple from Canada Australia’s most successful influencer collaborations to date. Partnering with Sarah Cobacho at plantbaes, a festive maple salad delivered standout performance, strong engagement, and an increase of more than 100 new followers for Maple from Canada Australia. It’s safe to say, we know the power of aligned influencer partnerships.
It has also been a strong period for new business, with Liquid appointed to handle integrated marketing services for Hadley Group, alongside continuing our work with HadleyFrame. Expanding our relationship across the wider group is an exciting milestone and one we are proud to be building on. We are also delighted to welcome Stratford Park Hotel as a new client, appointed to support with integrated activity, including digital, social, and press. Stratford Park also boasts an 18-hole championship golf course…so it’s time to get working on our drive!
Looking to Europe, our development chef, Olivier, hosted a culinary seminar in Normandy for the North Carolina Sweetpotato Commission, teaching Level 2 students at Lycée Jean Baptiste Decrétot about the versatility of NC sweetpotatoes. Alongside practical demonstration cooking incredible dishes, the seminar showcased the importance of real-world culinary experience in education, and educating the next generation on excellent produce.

Continuing our support with the next generation of chefs, our COO, David Colcombe, visited The Dorchester in London as part of preparations for the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts Annual Awards of Excellence 2026. David helped select the dishes that young chefs, pastry chefs, and waiters will prepare in next year’s competition, and with our client Maple from Canada UK sponsoring the awards, he will return as a judge for both the semi-final and final.
And finally, no end of year round up would be complete without a little office competition. The Liquid fantasy football league has been heating up, with Connor currently just one point ahead of Abs, while Chef and Craig sit comfortably above him. This is particularly newsworthy because Abs confidently promised £20 to everyone who finished above him, meaning he could soon be £60 down. The team is watching closely and will start a GoFundMe if needed!
As 2025 comes to a close, this month has been a reminder of what makes our work so rewarding: brilliant people, strong partnerships, creative work, and plenty to celebrate.
We head into the new year with momentum, optimism, and a lot to be proud of. 2026, we’re ready for you!
