Junior account executive
Liquid is looking for a junior account executive with 1 years’ experience, a good knowledge of the UK media landscape and experience in forming professional relationships with journalists across print, online and broadcast outlets.
Your principal responsibility will be to assist with client services, working under the guidance of account managers and account directors, gaining experience and knowledge as rapidly as possible.
Junior account executives, like everyone else at Liquid, are expected to be team players and immerse themselves in the company’s friendly yet hard-working culture.
You must be confident in your writing ability and eager to learn additional skills to produce high-quality written content including press releases, features and blog posts.
At Liquid, we pride ourselves on our ability to build long-lasting client relationships. The right candidate will be fascinated by the art of client relationship management – knowing what constitutes excellent client service and delivering it consistently. We have a wide variety of clients across a number of sectors and junior account executives need to be hungry to learn about the sectors in which our clients operate.
Liquid celebrates diversity and encourages all staff to develop special interests in one or more of the technical areas of public relations, to include: digital communication; photography and video; design, event management; issues and crisis communications; research; public affairs; measurement and evaluation… and so on.
Liquid strongly encourages this approach and provides specialised training opportunities and the opportunity to lead on projects.
Career development is important at Liquid. We conduct formal reviews as well as organising regular one-to-one sessions with line managers. At Liquid, a positive “can do” attitude goes a long way.
As well as becoming part of a vibrant, hardworking team, Liquid employees receive 25 days’ holiday (plus bank holidays) and an additional day to celebrate their birthday.
And there’s a £1,000 bonus if you apply to us direct (Ts & Cs apply – see below for details). Please send CVs and cover letters to firstname.lastname@example.org
