Liquid is looking for an Account Executive with 1-2 years’ experience, who has a deep understanding of the UK media landscape and experience in forming useful professional relationships with journalists across print, online and broadcast outlets.
Account Executives, like everyone else at Liquid, are expected to be team-players and to immerse themselves in the company’s friendly yet hard-working culture.
You must be confident in your writing ability and comfortable in producing high-quality written content including press releases, features and blog posts.
At Liquid, we pride ourselves on our ability to build long-lasting client relationships. We have a wide variety of clients across a number of sectors, as such, all Account Executives will need to be hungry to learn about the worlds in which our clients operate.
Liquid celebrates diversity and encourages all staff to develop special interests in one or more of the technical areas of public relations including: digital communication, photography and video, design, event management, issues and crisis communications, research, public affairs, broadcast, measurement and evaluation… and so on. Liquid strongly encourages this and supports such interests by providing specialised training opportunities and the opportunity to lead on projects.
Successful candidates will pride themselves on their ability to think creatively when solving communication challenges. In addition, they must have excellent organisational and time management skills in order to meet external and internal deadlines.
Career development is important at Liquid. We conduct formal reviews as well as organising regular 1:1s with line managers. At Liquid a positive ‘can do’ attitude goes a long way. If your clients and colleagues enjoy working with you, you will move quickly to the next level.
As well as becoming part of a vibrant hardworking team, Liquid employees receive 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays) and an additional day to celebrate their birthday. More uniquely, each year we get everyone together for a weekend away. It’s a great way to relax and get to know each other better, and we find that we work better together as a result. This year we visited our colleagues in Jersey and enjoyed oyster foraging and a rib-boat trip across to France!
And there’s a £1,000 bonus if you apply to us direct (Ts & Cs apply – see here for details).
