Liquid is looking for an experienced PR professional, whether an experienced account manager looking to take the next level or an established account director looking for a new challenge – we want to hear from you.
You will have at least six years’ experience in PR/marketing consultancy, as well as a proven track-record of success in managing and delivering client programmes. You are a good networker and enjoy bringing in new business opportunities and winning new business pitches. As an Account Director at Liquid you will play a central role in managing the relationship with some clients, with others you will have a more supervisory responsibility.
Liquid expects its Account Directors to act as a source of new thinking and new ideas, always keeping a step ahead. You will know a lot about your clients’ business sectors and are able, whenever you meet them, to give them information they don’t already possess. You will have a history of being seen as a ‘trusted advisor’ with your clients.
The successful candidate will be keen to make a mark in the industry, attending appropriate professional events, confident in giving talks to your professional colleagues and other audiences – schools, business groups, community associations.
As an Account Director, you will have experience in managing and supporting other members of the team. You know more than they do about integrated communications (the PESO model) and evaluation; you have long experience of resolving client:agency problems and are ready to give advice and, where necessary, intervene. You will have experience in keeping a watchful eye on your teams’ workloads and helping to provide support where needed – never being afraid to roll up your sleeves and get involved!
