The Project

The Whitley Fund for Nature (WFN) is a fundraising and grant-giving nature conservation charity offering recognition, training and grants to support the work of proven grassroots conservation leaders across the Global South.

Funding is just part of what conservationists need to succeed. In addition to giving new Whitley Award winners £40,000 in project funding, WFN puts a spotlight on winners’ work, helping to increase their profile across the world.
