As Ravenscroft approached its 10th year of trading, it made the decision to appoint its first PR consultancy. Liquid started work in September 2014 and quickly demonstrated the value it could add to this growing pan-Channel Islands’ brand. 

Although Liquid reports directly to the group head of marketing and PR, the team has already formed relationships with key personnel and this has allowed it to provide both strategic and tactical support. Recognising the insight Liquid could bring, two of our directors were asked to join the marketing committee which is responsible for deciding what activity is being undertaken. In the first 12 months of work, Liquid was involved in more than 50 media releases and more than a dozen pieces of editorial. It has also provided advice and training on the use of social media and had input into CSR activity and marketing collateral.

Since being appointed there has been a 24% increase in the number of visits to the Ravenscroft website and a 26% increase in the number of pages viewed. Ravenscroft has also jumped to fourth for the search term “where to invest in Guernsey” in Google.
